The weather forecast for Truist Park isn’t looking great as there appears to be rain in and/around the area. With that being said, we haven’t heard of any delays at the ol’ ballpark in Cobb County so it appears that they’re going to try to get this in.
If the game does happen, then the Atlanta Braves will be bringing in a familiar face as their starting shortstop for today’s game against Sandy Alcantara and the Marlins. Here’s the lineup for Atlanta:
With one exception, this is the same lineup that scored 10 runs on Friday and then turned around and got shut out on Saturday. The one exception is Orlando Arcia, who is starting at shortstop and batting eighth. This is his first time starting in nearly a week, as Nick Allen has been taking care of things at shortstop for the time being. For what it’s worth, Arcia has two hits in five at-bats against Alcantara, which might be a reason why he’s getting a shot today. That’s a pretty small sample size but it’s not like too many other players in this lineup have had consistent success against Alcantara, so there’s that.
We’ll get back to you with Miami’s lineup once it’s revealed.
Today’s game is set to start at 1:35 p.m. ET and here’s more info on how to watch the game.
