Navy Federal Credit Union Bank app users reported facing an outage while initiating transactions on Friday. The company responded to the outage, saying that they are aware of the issues and working to fix it. The platform Down Detector, which reports such outages based on users’ reports, showed a rising curve of reports of users facing an outage. At the time of writing, there were more than 2000 users reporting outages.
“We’re aware that some members are experiencing this issue and our tech team is working to get this resolved as soon as possible,” NFCU said in a post on X. “I apologize for the inconvenience.”
As per the classification of the reports provided on Down Detector, 59% of the users reported facing an issue with the app, while 30% said they were unable to do online banking transactions. 11% were not able to log into the app.
