March News at the Library!

E-resource news! Starting March 17, Milford Public Library will begin offering two new e-resources:
Transparent Language, which will replace MANGO, our previous online language learner, offers amazing, easy to use, and comprehensive language learning (including American Sign Language and learning English as another language. (MANGO will still be available until March 31).
UniversalClass is another new e-resource that the Library is offering in March featuring hundred of amazing online courses with topics ranging from accounting to homeschooling to test preparation to self-care!

For Adults: An author visit and book signing by Milford native Marylin Westfall Tyrol, as well as programs about AI, Solar and Battery storage, grief support, having healthy relationships, live music with the New England Guitar Society, a hands-on program featuring the meteorite collection of the Astronomical Society of New Haven and calling all trivia buffs to join us when the “Trivia King,” David Plaue will test your knowledge of the U.S. History!
Young Adults can enjoy watching the movie, Hidden Figures, create their own jigsaw puzzle and join Food Explorers for a cheesy hands-on cooking class making pizza stuffed naan bread!
Spring Storytime Sessions continue for children on Tuesdays and Thursdays along with a Pokemon Meet-Up, LEGO Builders, Drama Workshop, Minecraft Bingo, Music Pop-Class, an Afternoon of Irish Music and storytelling and many more great programs for children!
Our movies in March will be the musicals, Singin’ in the Rain and Wicked!
Milford residents may sign-up for a Milford Public Library card online or in person at the Library. Use your library card to fuel your mind with books, e-books, audiobooks, online databases and resources, a unique item from our Library of Things, and/or museum passes! Please visit our online program calendar for the full listing of all programs and events. Paper calendars are still available and can be printed using the link below; copies are also available at all library service desks.
