Megan Bayne turned heads in her Dynamite debut. It wasn’t long until she became All Elite. Now, her first feud is in motion, and it is against a former world champion.
Bayne was seen walking the hallways backstage at Collision (Feb. 8, 2025). The Megasus ignored Lexy Nair’s attempt at an interview. Thunder Rosa burst in with an energetic welcome for the newcomer. Bayne looked down on Thunder’s hospitality. That was foreshadowing of things to come.
Thunder was in action against Penelope Ford. After a triumphant victory in a hard-fought contest, La Mera Mera’s celebration was interrupted by Bayne. The statuesque goddess took her time walking to the ring. Tension was building. Boom! Ford attacked Thunder from behind out of anger from losing.
Bayne observed the carnage. As soon as Ford exited, Bayne added insult to injury with an F5 on Thunder.
Bayne is jumping into deep waters right away by targeting the former women’s world champion. It will be interesting to see how this feud shakes out in terms of Bayne’s status in the hierarchy. Beating Thunder in a match would be an impressive notch on Bayne’s belt to start her AEW career.
