Deshaun Watson Has 2-Word Message For Everyone After Getting Engaged

Deshaun Watson, the 29-year-old Cleveland Browns quarterback, is engaged to be married.

Watson, who starred collegiately at Clemson and began his NFL career with the Houston Texans, announced on Sunday that he is engaged to be married. He proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Jilly Anais, who stayed with him despite accusations of sexual misconduct from dozens of female massage therapists.

The three-time Pro Bowl quarterback was suspended by the NFL for 11 games in 2022 as a result of the accusations against him. Watson was ordered to pay a $5 million fine, undergo evaluation from behavioral experts and go through a treatment program. He has been playing for the Browns since 2022, though on and off of the field, it’s been a disaster for Cleveland.

Watson announced this weekend that he was engaged to be married, though. Anais, who has posed for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, shared the big news on her social media account. She is excited to become Deshaun Watson’s wife.

“Mrs. Watson Loading…” she wrote on her Instagram account.

Congratulations poured in from fellow Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue models and others.

“Congratulations!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Katie Austin wrote.

“Congratulations!!!!!🎊” Penny Lane added.

One fan added: “Omgggggggggg! Pop out with a fiancé then! Will you even be able to fit your hand in your purse? Absolutely beautiful!”

Watson, meanwhile, took to Instagram with his own two-word message about the engagement.

“MORE GLORY 🙏🏾,” he wrote.

Watson added on social media that Anais, who he has been dating for several years, is his “queen.”

Watson’s time in Cleveland is expected to be over, at least as starting quarterback. The veteran NFL quarterback suffered an Achilles injury setback ahead of the 2025 season. The Browns traded for Kenny Pickett and are expected by most to draft a quarterback near the top of the first round later this spring.

Former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders is among those believed to be in contention to go to Cleveland and take over as starting quarterback.

It’s unclear what the future holds for Watson in the National Football League, but he does have a wedding to plan now.
