ATLANTA — The Atlanta Braves are taking on the Miami Marlins during their home opener on Friday.

Braves Walk: Fans are welcome to line the streets of The Battery, where a parade with players and coaches will start at 4 p.m. near Silverspot Cinema and continue down Battery Avenue to the first base gate. All gates will open at 4:30 p.m.
What time is first pitch?
Baseball Hall-of-Famer and 1995 World Series champion Fred McGriff will throw the ceremonial first pitch at 7:15 p.m. ET.

Who is singing the national anthem?
The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra is performing the national anthem. There will also be a flyover with four T-38s from the 14th Training Fighter Wing of Columbus Air Force Base in Mississippi.
During the 7th inning stretch, Atlanta Braves opera tenor Timothy Miller will also perform “God Bless America.”
