Writer-director Nora Kirkpatrick’s debut feature “A Tree Fell in the Woods,” starring Alexandra Daddario, Daveed Diggs, Josh Gad and Ashley Park, has wrapped production.
The film is a surrealistic drama about the lies that get us out of bed in the morning, the lies that get us through the day and the lies that get us into bed with other people. Described as “’The Breakfast Club’ for adults,” the film follows two couples whose relationships take a swift turn on New Year’s Eve after a tree unexpectedly falls in the woods.
Emmy-nominated “White Lotus” alum Daddario currently stars on the AMC+ series “Mayfair Witches.” Tony winner and fellow Emmy nominee Diggs will next be seen in Amazon’s “The Boys.” Gad is best known for voicing beloved snowman Olaf in the “Frozen” franchise and his Tony-nominated performance in “The Book of Mormon.” Tony, Grammy and Critics Choice nominee…
