EA Sports announced Thursday that the upcoming College Football 26 and Madden NFL 26 video games will release on July 10 and Aug. 14, respectively.
It was also revealed that football fans and gamers alike can now pre-order the MVP Bundle, which includes the Deluxe Editions of Madden NFL 26 and College Football 26 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X.
Those who pre-order the MVP Bundle by April 29 will receive a special bonus item in the form of a 99 overall player item of Travis Hunter via the On the Clock Pack in both Madden 26 and CFB 26.
Hunter, who won the Heisman Trophy at Colorado last season after starring at both wide receiver and cornerback, is expected to be among the top picks in the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night.
Other perks included in the MVP Bundle pre-order are three days of early access for Madden NFL 26 and College Football 26, as well as Madden Ultimate Team and College Football Ultimate Team rewards and various other packs, points and boosts.
EA Sports also announced a massive addition to Madden 26 and College Football 26, which will interconnect the games in a manner similar to the past.
In College Football 26, gamers will be able to start in high school before working their way up to the college ranks in Road to Glory.
Then, that player can be imported into Superstar mode in Madden 26, allowing the player who was created in College Football 26 to get drafted and embark on an NFL career in Madden 26.
That feature existed in past Madden and college football games, but it was not part of the return of college football to the video game world last year with College Football 25.
Those who pre-order College Football 26 and Madden NFL 26 can get a head start on launching their created player to stardom, as early access for College Football 26 runs from July 7 to July 9, while Madden early access is from Aug. 11 to Aug. 13.
