Our Senators vs. Flyers predictions expect goals to come from all over the ice.

The Ottawa Senators continue a four-game homestand to end the regular season with a Sunday matinee against the Philadelphia Flyers.
My Flyers vs. Senators predictions expect the home side to continue building on a strong run of form offensively in a high-scoring affair.
Let’s take a closer look at my April 13 NHL picks.
Senators vs Flyers prediction
My Senators pick: Over 5.5 (-114 at Pinnacle)
My Senators analysis
The Philadelphia Flyers have played in many high-scoring games since making a change behind the bench. Six of the past eight games have featured seven goals or more, with double digits being touched on four occasions.
Dynamic rookie Matvei Michkov has had more ice time — and freedom — to make plays offensively, which has made a world of difference for this Flyers offense.
They’ve needed the increased goal outputs as keeping the puck out continues to be a massive concern.
The Flyers rank dead last in team save percentage on the season (.872), and their numbers over the last 10 games are even worse. Although they don’t sit dead last in that span, the two teams below the Flyers
—
the Capitals and Islanders
—
are dealing with injuries to very good starting goaltenders. The Flyers can’t say the same.
Keeping the puck out of their net will likely be a challenge again vs. the Senators. Although they’re missing a key weapon in Brady Tkachuk, that hasn’t stopped them from piling up quality looks around the net. The Senators sit fourth in expected goals and third in high-danger chances created over the last 10 games. They’re testing opposing goaltenders a lot.
Considering the netminding the Flyers have gotten all season, that’s likely to be problematic in this game. Look for this Senators offense to continue building on a strong run of form
—
they’ve scored 14 goals over the last four games

while Michkov and the Flyers do enough to push this game Over the total.
Senators vs Flyers odds analysis
Ottawa opened as sizable -235 favorites and has seen the line shift even further in their direction, now trading at -239. It’s not surprising the market has moved that way as the Senators have played well without captain Brady Tkachuk and have a rest advantage playing at home following a day off.
The total hasn’t shifted much in either direction, which is a little surprising to me. The Flyers have played in a ton of track meets of late, while their goaltending hasn’t shown any reason to believe it can hold up against a Senators offense generating a lot of chances of late.
