A fire was reported a commercial building in Irvine, in Orange County, California on Saturday afternoon. The fire broke out on 1711 Kettering Street, Irvine police department confirmed. Videos of the fire surfaced on social media that showed a massive plume of smoke.
“There is a large structure fire in the area of Gillette and Kettering,” Irvine Fire Department said. “Alton is shut down in all directions between Gillette and Armstrong, and Aston is shut down at Alton. Kettering is also closed between Gillette and Armstrong. Please stay out of the area,.
Orange County Fire Authority said that firefighters have gone into a defensive mode at a third alarm fire in what it described as a “fully involved” commercial building.
